Well we moved out of our Ice House studio and everything is back at the Buckhead Studio. That was way to much work. Anyway the weather is nice the flowers are already starting to bloom and it's time to go fishing.
We have set a new website for showcasing my photography. Please take a look and let me know what you think. It is accessible from the www.buckheadwoodcrafters.com web site or at www.thomanstudio.zenfolio.com.
How about a couple of photos to brighten the day.

News for 2011
It seems like this has been one of the coldest winters in decades. Makes it difficult to get motivated and head out to the workshop. Hopefully we'll have an early spring. The shops at the Icehouse Underground in Madison Georgia went out of business so we had to close up our studio. We haven't decided if we're going to look for another location or just concentrate on our primary studio in Buckhead. I don't know about you but I hate having to move.
We have a busy spring coming up with several shows and events in Madison. Linda’s efforts finally paid off and Keep Morgan County Beautiful was certified by and accepted into the national Keep America Beautiful organization. Congratulations Linda. I guess this means I'll be carrying Recycle Man all over the county and State this year.
Linda and I co-taught a Steffen Thomas Museum of Art (STMA) Family Workshop entitled Turn, Turn, Turn during November. This program offered families a chance to try out wood turning on lathes that Dan set up at entrance of the Museum. It was a beautiful Fall morning for letting the wood chips fly! For those that were not turning wood, a wood-turned ornament painting workshop was going on inside. We hope to teach another course this spring just for adults.
That's all for now. How about a Pine Warbler photograph to brighten the day.
